Please join the Harvard Club of Phoenix and the HBS Club of Arizona for an evening with Gene McCarthy, former President and CEO of ASICS America. We will begin with a fireside chat with Gene at the Paradise Valley Town Hall to explore his formative years as an elite runner in the Bronx and at Fordham University, followed by key leadership and life lessons gleaned from a long career working for top brands in the athletic and outdoor industries, from Nike and Reebok to Timberland and Under Armour. In addition to sharing his philosophy on topics such as identifying and cultivating talent, the difference between companies and brands, and how to remain laser-focused on customer-centricity, Gene will field questions from the audience. We will then continue the conversation over informal cash bar drinks for the opportunity to network with Gene and fellow club members at the Mountain Shadows Resort.
