of New state-of-the-art facility in Mesa for film, media arts, design
and emerging technology program

Come join us for a private tour of Arizona State University’s Media and Immerseive eXperiend (MIX) Center with Founding Director, Jacob Pinholster, the Executive Dean of Enterprise Design at ASU Herbert Institute for Design and the Arts. This state of the art facility just opened this past fall, as a collaboration between ASU and the City of Mesa. Located in the the City’s innovative, diverse and historic downtown, this facility is transforming the way films, new virtual worlds, video games and other immersive media experiences are created. As one of the first media production facilities of its kind, it’s designed to be fully embedded into the surrounding community as a center for learning and cultural exchange. Here the Sidney Poitier New American Film School also operates its production and post-production activities.
