Announcing Our HCPhx 'POSITIVE EDUCATION' Series -

Continuing the Harvard Club of Phoenix's Early College Awareness Mission

Wednesday, April 28, at 6:00 p.m
Wednesday, May 12, at 6:00 p.m

The pandemic school year strained U.S. K-12 education to the breaking point and cast new light on inequalities of access and quality that have long plagued the system.  The challenge and promise of delivering engaging, stable and inclusive learning environments are at the center of our local and national conversation about schools. The Harvard Club of Phoenix proudly presents this two-part education series in continuation of the Club's long-standing commitment to support public education that inspires young people to dream, achieve, and give back to their communities.  This two-part series will take place by virtual conference on Wednesday, April 28, at 5:00 p.m., and Wednesday, May 12, also at 5: 00 p.m (times are approximate and will be confirmed in this space).  Our offerings feature:

  • Dr. Zachary Herrmann (EdLD ‘17), Executive Director of the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education Center for Professional Learning, and author of the new book, Teaching a Future President: Empowering Students to Take On Almost Impossible Problems.
  • R. Bradley “Brad” Snyder (MA Ed '), Executive Director of the Dion Initiative for Child Well-Being and Bullying Prevention, author of The 5 Simple Truths of Raising Kids,, and winner of the Innovations in American Government Award from Harvard University.
