Date: August 12, 2020
Time: 12:00-1:00 p.m. AZ Time
Location: Virtual Event
If you are anxious about getting a job or about keeping the one you have as the world grapples with the effects of COVID-19, you are not alone. This is a time of great economic and emotional uncertainty. People are unemployed, offers are being rescinded, budgets cut. But there are job openings, virtual interviews, and new jobs being created. The Harvard community is here to help.
Former HAA President Ellen Gordon Reeves AB '83, EdM '86 and HAA Nominating Committee Member John Bowman AB '80, MBA '85 discuss making the most of your time at home and how Harvard Alumni Association and other Harvard resources can help with career exploration and the job hunt. Topics include networking/connecting in this new virtual world, finding a virtual alumni mentor, informational interviewing using the alumni database, video interview etiquette, and more.
