This webinar takes a pragmatic approach grounded in extensive research in the psychology of health, well-being and relationships and is offered in the context of health promotion.
You will learn simple and rapid ways to achieve the calmness needed to make rational decisions, even under conditions of great stress. You will also learn how to protect yourself from work and financial stressors spilling over into your family life. Additionally, we will cover how to use mindfulness to identify unhealthy coping strategies such as stress-related eating, so you can more effectively take charge of your health.
Finally, you will come away with simple strategies and techniques that you can apply immediately to support and enhance your performance and quality of life.
Dr. S.D. Shanti is a clinical psychologist, public health practitioner (Harvard Chan '87) and founder of Prescriptions for Hope, dedicated to the world-wide diffusion and adoption of research-based mental health promotion and violence prevention modalities.
Her workshops are interactive, pragmatic and grounded in psychological research. Her goal is to empower participants so they can successfully navigate challenges associated stressful conditions related to work, relationships and health.
