Our colleagues from Phoenix Ivy Council write: "On Thursday, April 11, 2024, the Phoenix Ivy Council is collaborating with the MIT alumni club to host an alumni educational event on the Past, Present and Future of Cancer Research. Please join Dr. Tarek Fadel to learn about MIT’s rich, 50-year history of cancer research. He will talk about how the Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research’s collaborative, interdisciplinary community is helping MIT lead the charge in addressing the disease’s complex challenges using AI, precision medicine, immunotherapy, and other approaches. The event will be held at the offices of Neubloc located at 2801 E Camelback Rd, Suite 200, Phoenix, 85016. This event commences at 6 pm with the presentation starting at 6:30 pm.

More from Phoenix Ivy Council:  "Dr. Tarek Fadel serves as the Director for Strategic Alliances & Partnerships, helping to build and manage collaborative interactions between the Koch Institute and various stakeholders including donors, and academic, industry, and clinical institutions. Dr. Fadel received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Yale University in 2011, and held positions as Vice President for Research at the International Technology Research Institute, and in product engineering at Hewlett Packard. He also serves in board and advisory roles at the Yale Graduate School Alumni Association and the MIT Science Policy Review.
