Harvard Night with the Phoenix Symphony

Cocktail reception followed by a night of Scandinavian favorites conducted by Music Director Emeritus Michael Christie

The Harvard Club of Phoenix and the Harvard Business School Club of Arizona invite you to join us for a night at The Phoenix Symphony. This event is open to club members only and their guests. Further details are listed below.

In Michael Christie's only 2015 appearance with The Phoenix Symphony, he has selected some of his favorite works -- Jean Sibelius' 5th Symphony, selections from Edvard Grieg's popular "Peer Gynt Suite", and Carl Nielsen's beautiful Concerto for Flute and Orchestra (featuring the Symphony's amazing Principal Flutist, Viviana Cumplido Wilson). Works by Nielsen and Sibelius are receiving considerable attention lately, since it is the sesquicentennial of their birth.  Please join your fellow Harvard Alumnae/i for this enjoyable evening.
