50 Years of Talk - and Little Action

Reviews of the educational system in the United States have suggested needed reform for over 50 years. To date, little improvement is noted, even while many other countries have made remarkable progress in educating their children. While there are a few bright examples of educational excellence in Arizona, overall our state ranks in the bottom quartile of the 50 states. This presentation will focus on "secrets" of educational excellence, and on what is being done to improve the situation in Arizona.
