Taking the Pulse of US-China Relations

In recent months, US-China relations have continued to deteriorate, with COVID-19 adding to a growing list of conflicts that began with trade, expanded to technology, and are increasingly systemic.

Sponsored by the Harvard Club of San Francisco

Today, new rules and policies are in place that will restrict Chinese investment in the U.S., while the U.S is attempting to make Huawei a global issue. In the meantime, both sides are continuing to work together to implement Phase 1 of a trade deal that was signed in January.

Come join us for a fascinating discussion of these vital issues with Sean Randolph, one of our nation’s leading analysts of economic policy issues affecting our country, California, and the Bay Area. This conversation will explore the roots of the US-China conflict, how these issues connect to each other, and the outlook for US- China relations in the year ahead.
